Namaste Saturday: Meet Cindy!

Hi everyone!  I wanted to welcome you to a new series that will be happening here on the blog, Namaste Saturday (they rhyme! hehe).  Every Saturday, my lovely and wonderful Aunt Cindy will be sharing good for you recipes, health tidbits, and other information with my readers.  You may remember Cindy from the Raw Chocolate Pudding (Gluten and Dairy-Free) recipe.

To kick things off let's meet Cindy!  I know lots about her, but you don't.  We're going to fix that.  :)

Cindy Dupuie
Certified Nutritional Counselor and the founder of A Living Balance
I have always felt that the human body is an absolutely amazing machine with its own innate ability to heal itself given the right tools.  My focus  encompasses nutritional guidance and therapy and other healing modalities to support the health of the mind as well as the body. Good, healthy, yummy tasting food is a passion and I love bringing wonderful recipes and ideas to anyone who is willing to listen and try new things!  Food heals!

When Julie invited me to contribute to her White Lights Blog, I wasn’t so sure that I had something that would interest her readers. I’m probably a bit older than most of the readers here and my children are grown so I am no longer mired in all of the stuff  that motherhood brings when children are young.  Reading Julie’s blog brings all that back to me and I smile and am grateful for the time of raising young ones and also grateful for this time of having grown sons and having my life back.

I am a Functional Medicine Nutritionist and I teach Bikram yoga.  What I am hoping to bring are ideas and tools to help you to keep yourselves in tip top working order as moms, and to help you be able to bring the best to your children/family.  And if you’re not a mom and or don’t have children, you can still benefit.  :)

I will be giving you some simple ways to bring the best nutrition to your children, including  some gluten and dairy free recipes.  The importance of training little taste buds from a very early age. Talk about vaccination schedules, autism, ADHD and much more.

I hope you will enjoy this as much as I think I am going to.

In Health and Peace,
Cindy Dupuie
