Angel Chicken Pasta

Joann's is a dangerous place some times.  I see fabric and I want to do amazing things with it.  And then I remember I've barely learned to sew.

I bought a few patterns last time they were on sale for $0.99 each.  Cute tops, pants, skirts, awesome work type things.  But I'm nervous about starting these projects.  All I can dream of are uneven stitches on the hem or a finished product that is not right.  *sigh*  I'm not getting down on myself, I'm just anxious and projecting.

The other day I saw this amazing fabric on the Red Tag rack while I was waiting to get some fabrics cut.

It's navy with pink, red, blue, white, and grey spots.  I can't get over it.  But it's silk charmeuse and that scares me after years of watching Project Runway.  So I passed. Major regret.  I see this fabric being the cutest sleeveless blouse with a bowl at the neck.  Someday soon I'll have the confidence to go there, but for now something I'm totally confident with...food.
